Post-Brexit customs (UK movers)

Since Brexit, moving household goods from the UK to Spain requires customs clearance. You will need: detailed inventory in Spanish, proof of prior UK residence (min. 12 months), proof of new Spanish residence, NIE number.

Transfer of Residence (TOR) relief: If you have lived in the UK for 12+ months, you may import household goods duty-free and VAT-free. Goods should arrive within 12 months of your date of move. Discuss this with your removal company explicitly.
